A set of masking stencils for spraying the camouflage pattern known among modelers by the nickname Mickey Mouse, in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A camouflage pattern sprayed freehand comes out differently every time. On a single vehicle that does not matter, but as soon as you want the patches to be the same size, regularly spaced and with a clean edge, a hand holding an airbrush stops being enough. A cut stencil solves that problem: the pattern comes out exactly as it was measured out and can be repeated on another model in the same form. That is precisely why modelers who otherwise spray everything freehand reach for masks as well.
Cut masking stencils for 1:35 scale for the pattern that goes by the nickname Mickey Mouse. The set does not prescribe a particular vehicle, so you decide the layout across the hull and the turret yourself according to the subject you are building.
First finish the base shade and let it cure properly, otherwise the base will come away with the stencil. Try the placement of the stencils dry and look the model over from every side, because the pattern has to work from above as well. Spray the paint in thin coats perpendicular to the surface; when it is aimed under the edge, the paint creeps underneath and the edge smears. Take the stencil off as soon as the paint has set. The procedure for fixing the stencils is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For builders of military vehicles in 1:35 scale who want their camouflage regular and repeatable. Before you buy, compare the size of the patches with the model you want to use the set on. The model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
