1:35 Military Miniatures U.S. Infantry Weapons

Weapons of the American infantry 1:35 - Tamiya

A plastic add-on set of the weapons of the American infantry of the Second World War in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. It offers a wide palette of typical weapons - rifles, submachine guns, pistols, machine guns, a bazooka, a flamethrower and a mortar - completed with ammunition, magazines and other small equipment. It is not a model of a vehicle - it is an accessory for arming figures and bringing dioramas to life.

What the set is for

• it adds period weapons to figures of American soldiers in 1:35 scale
• it brings combat and rear-area dioramas of the Second World War to life
• it will serve as stowed equipment in vehicles and on bases
• it also offers heavier weapons, such as a bazooka, a flamethrower and a mortar

Building and painting tips

Separate and clean up the fine parts carefully, fit the joints and glue them with a thin modeling cement. Paint the wooden stocks in shades of brown and the metal parts with a dark steel color. A wash into the recesses and dry-brushing on the edges will bring out the relief; light dust will give the weapons a used look. Pieces worn to differing degrees look more natural in a diorama.

Who the set is for

For the modelers of figures and dioramas of the Second World War and for anyone interested in the armament of American units in 1:35 scale.

This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the package.
