Protože to bylo v podstatě samohybné dělo, ne tank. Němci potřebovali rychle dostat výkonný protitankový 8,8cm PaK 43 do pohybu, a lehký podvozek prostě neunesl silný pancíř. Nashorn tak měl otevřenou nástavbu chráněnou jen tenkým štítem — dost proti střepinám a pěchotě, ale nic proti tankové palbě. Musel proto střílet na velkou vzdálenost, kde byl v převaze, a hned měnit postavení. Přímý boj zblízka by nepřežil.

Rozhodně. Protože je vozidlo shora otevřené, je do bojového prostoru vidět — a Border Model do stavebnice dal plný interiér se závěrem kanónu, uložením munice a podlahou, plus čtyři figurky. Interiér ale musíte nabarvit a zapatinovat dřív, než prostor uzavřete.

Skládané pásy typu link & length — kombinace jednotlivých článků (pro průvěs a ohyby kolem kol) a delších rovných kusů (na rovné úseky). Nejsou to gumové jednodílné pásy.

Spíš ne. Plný interiér, skládané pásy, lepty a velké množství dílů dělají ze stavby delší projekt, a instrukce Border Modelu bývají hůř čitelné. Pro středně pokročilého a pokročilého modeláře je to naopak velmi vděčná krabice.
