Figure set in 1:35 scale on the subject of German armored troops in the Polish campaign of 1939, part one. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set relates to a German armored division in the Polish campaign of 1939, that is to the first deployment of this new weapon of the Second World War. For a diorama it is a rewarding period: the equipment and the vehicles are still in an early configuration that differs from the later years of the war, so a scene with a crew by a vehicle fits only models of the early period. This is the first part of the subject; the second part is a separate release.
It is a figure set in 1:35 scale supplied unassembled and unpainted. The number of figures, their poses and the extent of the accessories are given in the instructions enclosed in the package; a vehicle is not part of the set.
Cut off excess material with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder; on figures this concerns above all the seams on the arms and torso, because an unsanded seam shows more after painting than it does on a vehicle. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts. Wash and degrease the figures before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on greasy spots. Paint in layers from the base tone toward the highlights and leave the faces and hands until last, when you no longer have to touch the figures. Try arranging the figures dry by the model before you glue them, so that the scene makes sense.
The vehicle model, paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
