A church window is a rewarding element in a diorama, but painting stained glass by hand in 1:35 scale is hours of work. Printed fillings shorten that step: the color subject is ready and the builder only places it behind the window opening. The set carries the sequence number 1 in the range of printed accessories; which subjects it contains exactly is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Lay the element against the window opening from behind and fix it around the perimeter so that no glue gets into the lit area and the print does not wrinkle. Compare the dimensions with the opening beforehand and try the fit out dry. The suitable glue and the recommended procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions. Work with clean hands and with tweezers with smooth jaws, because fingerprints and scratches on the print can no longer be removed.
Stained glass comes out when there is clear space and light behind it. So if possible do not close the structure completely and leave an opening in it through which daylight or a small light source can get inside.
The set is meant for builders of dioramas and vignettes with church or older city building in 1:35 scale. The model of the structure, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
