MIG Productions U.S. Souvenir Hunter, Europe 1943-1945, a resin figure of an American soldier from the European theater of the Second World War in 1:35 scale, rendered on the theme of collecting souvenirs.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin figure from MIG Productions in 1:35 scale captures an American soldier in the European theater of the years 1943 to 1945 in a more civil moment of military life, looking over objects he has found, that is, at the souvenir hunting that was a common phenomenon among soldiers. The figure is cast in polyurethane resin, which allows very fine detail of the gear, the uniform and the expression of the face.
Between 1943 and 1945 American soldiers went through the campaigns in Italy, France and Germany. The figure matches the period gear and uniform of the US infantry of this period and, thanks to its genre subject, it suits quieter scenes: a unit at rest, a rear area, an occupied village.
Before gluing, wash the resin parts in warm soapy water, remove the casting blocks and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection when sanding resin. Acrylic paints for figures will handle the painting, and the skin and the shading can be deepened with oil paints; we recommend painting the face and the hands under a magnifying glass.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
