A printed accessory for a 1:35 diorama with a subject of windows with panes in lead profiles, one of the items of the Printed Accessories range.
Responsibility details are not available.
You will know a window with panes set into lead profiles by its dense net of small fields, most often diamond-shaped or rectangular. Glazing like that is met with on churches, town halls, old taverns and townhouses, that is on exactly the structures that appear in dioramas as the background of a European scene. On a model it is at the same time one of the most laborious details, because the individual fields are barely a millimeter across in 1:35 scale.
A printed accessory from the Printed Accessories range, carrying its own designation, with a subject of glazing in lead profiles. How many parts are in the package and what dimensions they have are stated on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions; check by them in advance whether the subject matches the window openings of your structure in size.
Cut the element out with a sharp blade along a rule and even the edge up. Glue it onto the window opening from behind, and then the joint will not be visible from the face side, and apply the glue sparingly only around the perimeter. The suitable type of glue is set out in the manufacturer's instructions. Fit the windows only once the masonry is painted and dirtied. Do not paint over the fine drawing of the lead profiles needlessly; try any dirtying on an offcut first.
The set suits builders of dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale with European buildings, a church or a ruin who do not want to make the glass field by field. Working with it is undemanding and calls for no sanding and no filling. A kit of the building, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
