An accessory set from the Czech brand Black Dog in 1:35, meant for a model of the German Pz.Kpfw. III medium tank. It is not a model of the tank but an accessory for it: it adds to the hull, the fenders and the turret the things crews carried with them and which turn a factory machine into a particular vehicle in the field.
In the first years of the Second World War the Pz.Kpfw. III was the main German tank intended for fighting armored targets. It went through a long series of modifications: the armor grew thicker, the running gear changed and above all the caliber of the armament grew, from the original rapid-fire gun through a 50 mm weapon to a short 75 mm gun in the support role. Once it was no longer a match as a tank, its proven chassis served as the basis for assault guns, so it can be met on practically every front from Poland to North Africa and the Eastern Front.
German vehicles tend to have a fairly dark and uniform coat on which accessories easily disappear. It therefore pays to paint them separately and in a more varied but still period-credible range: canvas, leather straps, wooden crates and sheet-metal jerrycans each have a different tone and gloss. Only at the end unify the model with a shared layer of dust and a light wash into the recesses.
It is an accessory for a model, not a model of the vehicle on its own.
