1:35 Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf.B King Tiger Henschel Turret Sd.Kfz. 182 with full interior is a plastic kit of the heavy tank Tiger II with the production Henschel turret and complete interior equipment. Workable tracks, photo-etched metal and a turned metal barrel are part of it.

This plastic kit of the heavy tank Sd.Kfz. 182 from the Rye Field Model brand belongs to the line with full interior equipment. The driver's compartment, the fighting compartment and the engine bay are all modeled, so the model will stand having any part of it opened up. To the plastic parts are added clear parts, photo-etched metal, working torsion bars, four types of drive sprockets and fully workable individual track links. The gun has a modeled breech and can be elevated, the barrel is turned from metal and completed with a muzzle brake from 3D printing. The decal sheet offers six marking options.
The Tiger II was the last German heavy tank to reach series production during the Second World War, and it entered the fighting from 1944. The front of the hull was protected by armor 150 millimeters thick, the sides by 80 millimeters, and the armament consisted of an improved 8.8 cm gun able to punch through more than 150 millimeters of armor at two kilometers. The production turret of Henschel design replaced the earlier rounded turret and you can tell it by the flat front wall with no hollow, in which hits used to be caught on the older form.
With a set that has an interior it is sensible to build from the back forward: first finish and shade the inside of the hull, and only then close it. Put the track links together in longer runs and leave them hanging freely over the wheels, so that they sag naturally. Weathering comes last of all, best of all with pigments and oil paints into the recesses of the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
