Rivets of 0.9 mm in 1:35 scale from Plusmodel are a detail set for adding coarser riveting to models of equipment, girders and structures.

This is a detail accessory, not a kit. The set holds separate imitations of rivet heads of 0.9 millimeters, which are glued onto a model one by one. Against the finest sizes this one is more pronounced, so it suits places where the riveting was coarse in reality too, that is girders, frames, armor plates, chassis parts and building structures.
The first reason to buy tends to be repair. While sanding and filling seams, the molded rivets are ground off the surface of a plastic part, and a missing row is unmissable on a finished model. Separate rivets make it possible to restore the riveting at the right spacing and size. The second use is building your own parts, whether a conversion, a plate made of smooth material or an element of a diorama such as a bridge, a crane or a piece of workshop equipment. The more pronounced size reads well even after several coats of paint have been sprayed on.
Mark the spacing out beforehand with masking tape or with light pricks of a scriber, as a row done by eye tends to show. Take the rivets with fine-tipped tweezers or a moistened toothpick and apply the glue to the model, not to the rivet itself. A small drop of cyanoacrylate glue and work in short sections prove themselves. Once dry, go over the surface with a fine abrasive and spray a primer, which evens the joints out and reveals the places to correct. When painting, the riveting comes out after a darker wash is run around the heads and after a light dry brushing in a lighter shade.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, for further work. Glue, paints and a model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
