Workable track links of the RMSh type in the late form for models of the T-55, T-62 and T-72 in 1:35 scale. The parts are made by 3D printing.
Responsibility details are not available.
In Soviet practice the designation RMSh relates to a track with a rubber-bushed joint: the pin of the link is seated in a rubber bush instead of bare metal, which damps the shocks and extends the life of the track. The late form differs from the earlier one in the shape and the division of the link. A track of this kind was used on the medium tanks of the T-55 and T-62 series and on the later T-72, so one set covers several popular subjects at once.
Track links in 1:35 scale in a workable form. Each link joins the next one so that the joint stays free to rotate, and the finished track can then be drawn over the wheels and allowed to sag naturally, instead of the shape having to be forced by bending a single part. The detail of the teeth and the face of the link is markedly crisper than on the track from a kit. The number of links in the package and the recommended assembly procedure are given by the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are made by 3D printing, so first rid them of the print supports: cut them off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder away carefully. Before painting, wash and degrease the links, so that no print resin residue is left on them and the paint holds. Work calmly and without force, as the thin links are fragile. Do not glue the joints, or you will lose the mobility the set is bought for. The degree of sag of the upper run of the track differs between the individual types, so compare it with photographs of the real subject. Finally, dust the finished track and emphasize the contact faces with rubbing.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
