A resin set of road wheels with rubber tire bands for models of the Soviet self-propelled howitzer 2S3 in 1:35 scale. It replaces the plastic wheels from the base kit with more faithfully cast parts with crisply legible relief. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory.
The 2S3 Akatsiya is a Soviet 152 mm self-propelled howitzer on a tracked chassis, introduced at the end of the 1960s and used in many armies to this day. On a tracked chassis the road wheels with their rubber tire bands are a prominent feature that catches the eye on a model. Because these are the wheels of a tracked vehicle and not road tires, there is no visible deflection under load.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin, and apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
