This resin set in 1:35 scale from the Polish company PANZER ART contains cast wheels of the American wheeled armored vehicle Stryker in the ICV version (infantry carrier). It is not a model but replacement wheels including a spare, to raise the detail of a kit.
The Stryker is an American eight-wheeled armored vehicle introduced at the beginning of the 21st century; the ICV version serves as an armored personnel carrier for infantry. It stands on large off-road tires. The castings capture both the tread pattern and the flattening of the tire under load where it meets the road, and they replace the plastic parts of a kit.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Set the wheel down with the flattened part against the base for a convincing impression of a loaded tire. Paint the rubber dark and add dust and mud effects.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
