Road wheels for the Centurion tank 1:35 from PANZER ART: a resin replacement for the wheels of a model of the British tank. An accessory for a kit, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of road wheels in 1:35 scale for a model of the British Centurion tank. It is not a kit, but a replacement for the parts, with which you swap the plastic wheels for castings with a sharper rendering. Resin holds thin rims, the pressings of the hub and the shape of the rubber tire band better than an injection mold, so the difference shows above all on a vehicle whose running gear is clearly seen.
The Centurion appeared at the end of the Second World War as a British universal tank and became one of the longest-serving machines of its day. It served in Korea, in the Middle East and elsewhere, and it gradually received heavier armament and armor. The running gear rests on Horstmann suspension with pairs of wheels in bogies, which is typical of the silhouette of the vehicle, and it is precisely this part of a model that will take the most attention.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent and remove the mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw, true the cut with a file and protect your airways while sanding. Resin is bonded with super glue, that is, with cyanoacrylate. Glue the wheels on and paint them before the running gear is closed up and the tracks fitted, because after that a brush will no longer reach them. Leave the rubber dark gray and at the end pull the whole running gear together with a dust coat from below upward.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
