A resin accessory from PANZER ART in 1:35 scale. This is not a model of the vehicle but a set of resin wheels with cast snow chains, of the kind American units fitted to trucks and armored vehicles in winter conditions. The wheels replace the parts from the base kit and give a model a striking winter setting.
Snow chains raised the grip of tires in mud, snow and ice and they were common field equipment on Allied vehicles in Europe during the Second World War. The cast chains follow the pattern of the period exactly and reproduce the way they sagged on the tread of the tire.
Wash the parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces, with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The chains come out once they have been painted in a dark metal shade and gone over with a dry brush; dust and mud pigments suit the pattern of the tread.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
