PANZER ART 1:35 wheels with snow chains for the VW Kübelwagen are a resin aftermarket accessory – a set of road wheels with chains fitted for models of the German off-road car VW Kübelwagen.

This is a resin aftermarket accessory, not a model on its own. The set contains four cast road wheels with snow chains fitted and replaces the plastic parts from the box on models of the VW Kübelwagen. The chains are cast in one piece with the tire, so the laborious assembly falls away.
The VW Kübelwagen (Type 82) was a light German off-road car of the Second World War, the counterpart of the Allied jeep. On the Eastern Front and in winter conditions the tires were fitted with snow chains to improve grip.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut the casting blocks away and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand with respiratory protection. The chains stand out after a dry brush in a metallic shade; a slight flattening of the tire where it meets the ground also looks natural.
The aftermarket accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
