This is a turned metal barrel in 1:35 scale intended for a model of the South Korean K2 Black Panther main battle tank. It is not a model of a tank but a detail replacement part, which takes the place of the plastic barrel from the base kit and raises both the realism and the precision of the gun assembly.
The K2 Black Panther is a modern South Korean main battle tank armed with a 120 mm smoothbore gun. The turned metal barrel faithfully captures the geometry and the proportions of this weapon, and it is perfectly straight with no mold seams.
Degrease the metal barrel before gluing and bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Metal calls for a good metal primer so that the paint holds well; the surface can then be painted with an airbrush and fine-tuned with washes and pigments. The muzzle looks best with a fine dark shade imitating propellant residue.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
