This resin set in 1:35 scale from the Polish company PANZER ART contains cast wheels of the German heavy eight-wheeled armored car Sd.Kfz 232 in the late form. It is not a model but replacement wheels for higher detail on a kit.
The Sd.Kfz 232 was a German heavy reconnaissance armored car on an eight-wheeled chassis, used during the Second World War. As a wheeled vehicle it stood on tires whose form changed over time; the late pattern differs from the early one in tread pattern and in detail. The castings capture both the tread pattern and the flattening of the tire under load.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Set the wheel down with the flattened part against the base for a convincing impression of a loaded tire. Paint the rubber dark and add dust and mud effects.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
