This injection-molded plastic kit captures the German heavy armored reconnaissance car Sd.Kfz.232 on its eight-wheeled chassis. The model in 1:35 scale from AFV Club is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted kit meant for gluing and finishing.
The Sd.Kfz.232 was a German heavy armored car with drive to all eight wheels, used in the Second World War for long-range reconnaissance. The vehicle had a rotating turret with a cannon and the characteristic frame antenna for its long-range radio set. The eight-wheeled design gave it good mobility across country as well as the ability to reverse at full speed.
With eight-wheeled vehicles we recommend assembling the steered axles and the wheel suspension carefully. Thin cement for plastic, a base primer and an airbrush have proved themselves. The look will be brought to life by washes into the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects on the chassis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
