Sd.Kfz.9 FAMO Road Wheels 1:35 from PANZER ART — a resin set of road wheels fitted with British cross-country tires for the heavy FAMO half-track tractor.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART representing the front road wheels fitted with British cross-country tires for the German heavy Sd.Kfz.9 FAMO half-track tractor. This is not a vehicle model but a detail accessory that replaces the original wheels.
The Sd.Kfz.9 FAMO was the heaviest German half-track tractor of the Second World War, used for recovering and towing tanks and heavy guns. The version with British cross-country tires reflects a field change of tires or the later use of captured parts.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces, using respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray a primer on before painting; pick out the tread pattern in a matte rubber shade and bring up dust and mud with pigments.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Using it requires the matching base kit of the Sd.Kfz.9 FAMO tractor.
