Where it comes into its own

Use and tips

These are not conventional waterslide decals soaked off a paper carrier in water, and they are not handled in the same way: always follow the instructions enclosed in the package, because the maker's technology has its own procedure. Before you start, degrease the surface and let it dry completely. Seat the belt with tweezers and shape it gradually in short sections so that it naturally follows the run from the magazine to the breech. Once it is in place, refine the look with a fine dark wash into the recesses between the rounds and a light dry brush along the edges: that separates the individual rounds and the belt stops looking like a single piece.
