Spanish Leopard 2E is a plastic kit of the Spanish version of the Leopard 2 tank in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss.

This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Spanish variant of the Leopard 2 main battle tank. The model is meant to be glued and painted. The box contains parts on several sprues, a separate upper and lower hull, the turret, clear parts for the periscopes and photo-etched sheet; the exact contents may differ between individual editions.
The Leopard 2E is the Spanish version derived from the German Leopard 2A6. It takes over the long 120 mm gun and the wedge-shaped add-on armor on the turret and additionally strengthens the protection of the frontal arc and the turret roof, with which the weight rises toward a limit of around 69 tons. The vehicle was produced in cooperation between German and Spanish industry and serves with the ground forces of the Spanish army.
With tracked vehicles it pays to finish the running gear and the lower part of the hull before the upper part is closed up. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic and spray the parts with an airbrush over a primer coat. Pick the tracks and the running gear out with washes and pigments for dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
