PANZER ART RE35-163 stowage bin for the Tiger I is a resin accessory in 1:35 in the form used by two particular heavy tank battalions.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory from the Polish maker PANZER ART. It is a stowage bin that heavy tank battalions had made in their workshops and fixed to the rear of the turret of the Tiger I. It is not a vehicle kit but a single accessory that gives a model a specific and recognizable feature. The form matches the shape used by two well-known heavy tank battalions, the 502nd and the 503rd.
Wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release agent disappears from it. Cut the casting block off with a saw and true the surface; protect your airways when sanding resin. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Position the bin according to period photographs, because the height and the angle differed from vehicle to vehicle. A sheet-metal bin welded in the field was rarely straight or clean, so give it a shade that departs from the hull and indicate rubbed-through paint on the edges and around the brackets.
For modelers who build the Tiger I and want to tie the vehicle to a particular unit, and for diorama makers, where the bin can be filled with further cargo. The work assumes basic experience with resin.
This is an accessory, not a vehicle kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
