This is a resin detail set in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory for the American Studebaker truck. The casting represents the engine deck, the hood, pulled over with winter canvas of the kind that protected the engine in hard frost.
Studebaker trucks with a six-wheel layout, delivered under Allied aid, served the Red Army widely as a general-purpose transport and as a chassis for rocket launchers. The winter canvas over the engine compartment kept the engine from getting too cold in the extreme frosts of the Eastern Front.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue. Bring up the canvas with drybrushing and a wash; snow and mud effects suit a winter scene well.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
