A photo-etched brass set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard intended for detailing a model of the German Sturmgeschütz III assault gun in the Ausf.G version in 1:35 scale. The designation new tool indicates that the parts are matched to a recently tooled kit. It is not a model but a set of fine photo-etched parts that replace or complement the coarser plastic elements and raise the fidelity of the model.
The StuG III Ausf.G was the most widespread and most produced version of the German assault gun of the Second World War. It was built on the chassis of the Panzer III tank and carried a long 75 mm gun barrel; it served for direct fire support and for fighting armored vehicles and became one of the most common German tracked assets in the closing stage of the war.
Photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife, shaped with a bending tool and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). On this subject, photo-etched parts refine above all the fenders, covers, tool brackets and small external elements. Degrease the surface and apply a base coat (primer) before painting.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
