Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the German assault gun StuG III Ausf. F8 in its early production version. The model belongs to Takom's Blitz line, which relies on a sensible parts count, good detail and a quick build. The box contains a metal gun barrel, photo-etched parts and link-and-length tracks. An interior is not included.
The StuG III was the most numerously produced German tracked fighting vehicle of the Second World War. The Ausf. F8 version received a lengthened 7.5 cm gun with a long barrel, which turned what had been a support vehicle into an effective tank destroyer, and a revised rear hull. A low silhouette and decent armor made the StuG III a popular and dangerous defensive weapon.
Thanks to the lower parts count this is a rewarding build even for the less experienced. Assemble and weather the running gear before finishing the hull. Degrease the metal barrel so the paint adheres better. Pick out the armor edges with a dry brush, and create dust and mud with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
