A resin accessory from PANZER ART in 1:35 scale. This is not a model of the vehicle but a set of additional armor plates of the kind that were bolted to the front of the hull of the StuG III Ausf. F assault gun to raise its protection. The Spitzbug version refers to the characteristic pointed shape of the front. The subject of the set is based on the vehicles of the 232nd assault gun battalion.
The StuG III Ausf. F was a German assault gun of the Second World War on the chassis of the Panzer III tank, armed with a longer 75 mm weapon that suited it to fighting tanks as well. Bolted additional armor on the front of the hull and on the superstructure was a common fitting both in the field and in production, and it raised resilience.
Wash the parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces, with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The bolt heads and the welds come out once they have been painted and given a fine wash; a base coat will unify the transition between the armor and the hull.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
