A resin accessory from the Polish maker PANZER ART in 1:35 scale. It is a replacement upper hull for the StuG IV assault gun, with a layer of concrete applied in the field modeled on it. This is not a vehicle kit: you need a base model whose upper part you replace with this casting. The surface of the concrete is broken and irregular, which is exactly what is hard to cast in plastic.

How to work with the set

Wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release agent disappears from it. Cut the casting block off with a saw and true the surface; protect your airways when sanding resin. Before you start gluing, try dry how the casting seats on the hull of the base model, and even out any difference by sanding or with a plastic profile. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the concrete differently from the steel: a gray base, then a lighter dry brush on the edges and finally a dark glaze in the recesses, so that the surface gains depth.

For modelers of German vehicles who want a vehicle from the end of the war with improvised protection, and for diorama makers, where a broken surface adds credibility to a scene. The work assumes experience with resin and a willingness to fine-tune the fit to the base model.

The set is an accessory, not a vehicle kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
