Tamiya SU-76M 1:35 is a plastic kit of a Soviet self-propelled gun of the Second World War, with figures in the box.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale captures the Soviet SU-76M self-propelled gun of the Second World War, from the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya. The box also holds crew figures. Thanks to the accurate fit of the parts the model suits less experienced builders of vehicles as well.
The SU-76M was a light Soviet self-propelled gun built on the chassis of a light tank and armed with a 76.2 mm gun. It came about as mobile support for infantry and as a means against armor. Its open fighting compartment is characteristic. It was one of the most numerously produced Soviet tracked vehicles of the Second World War and it proved itself in both the support and the anti-tank role.
Assemble the running gear first and then the fighting compartment, which is clearly visible on this vehicle, so its detail is worth the attention. Use liquid polystyrene cement for the plastic parts and lay down a primer. Spray the shades with an airbrush, bring out the recesses with a wash and apply pigments to the running gear for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
