A set of precisely cast workable white metal tracks in 1:35 scale for the Soviet and Russian T-72 main battle tank. This is not a model or a kit of the whole tank but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic tracks from a boxed kit. Every link is a separate metal casting and once assembled the whole track moves freely.
Workable metal tracks give the running gear a realistic weight and allow the track to sag naturally between the road wheels and the return rollers, something that cannot be imitated faithfully with rigid plastic parts.
Clean the casting residue off the links, join them with cut lengths of wire as pins and assemble a continuous track. Join the parts with cyanoacrylate glue. The metal surface holds both paint and pigments well; a primer first and then washes and pigments for mud and wear effects work best.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
