Workable track links for the T-80 tank in 1:35 scale. A replacement for the tracks from the kit which lets the run be laid with a natural sag.
Responsibility details are not available.
The track is visible along its whole length on a tank model and gives away at once how much work the builder put in. A workable version means the track is made up of individual links which stay pivoting against one another once joined. The run can then be bent exactly as it lies on the real machine: it follows the wheels, passes over the drive sprocket and sags under its own weight above the running gear. A one-piece track from the kit cannot do this, and a taut flat surface above the wheels shows on a finished model at first glance.
Track links for the T-80 tank in 1:35 scale, that is for the most widespread size of military equipment kits. The set replaces the tracks supplied with the kit and is made for this very type, so the pitch and the shape of the links match its running gear.
Cut surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest, so the links seat on one another without play. Assemble them in longer sections on a flat surface and test the finished run on the running gear dry while it can still be shaped. Lay the sag according to references for your own model and fix the track in position only once it sits right. Painting is easier before fitting to the model: a base shade, a dark wash into the links and a metallic sheen with a dry brush on the faces that rub against the ground.
For modelers who build armored equipment in 1:35 scale and want the track laid faithfully. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
