About product

AFV Club – T36E6 tracks (late type), 1:35

This is a set of workable individual-link tracks in 1:35 scale – an accessory, not a whole model. The T36E6 tracks represent the late type of track used on the light tanks of the M5 line and on the M8 self-propelled howitzers. Once assembled they stay movable and allow a faithful sag over the running gear.

Assembly and use

  • They are made up of individual injection-molded links with separate end connectors and guide horns.
  • Once assembled they are movable – ideal for a realistic sag and for fitting to a finished chassis.
  • Assemble them in sections and let the glue set before you shape the sag.
  • They replace the less accurate tracks from the box and raise the fidelity of the running gear.

Painting and patina tips

  • Paint and weather the tracks before you fit them to the model.
  • Combine a dark base, metallic dry brushing on the contact surfaces and pigments for dust and mud.

Who the tracks are for

  • Builders of light tanks of the M5 line and M8 howitzers in 1:35 scale.
  • Modelers who want the faithful late type of track with a realistic sag.

This is an accessory, a set of tracks. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
