A resin tail, or anti-torque, rotor for the American helicopter of the Black Hawk family in the MH-60L version in 1:35 scale from ResKit. It is not a kit of a helicopter but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic tail rotor from the box with a truer resin part carrying fine detail on the blades and the rotor head.
The resin tail rotor has crisper detail and a more accurate blade shape than the injection-molded part. Watch out for a mix-up with the main rotor: this set is meant for the small anti-torque rotor on the tail boom.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them carefully from the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Paint the blades before fitting them.
This is a detail accessory for experienced modelers, not a model on its own. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
