The set is an aftermarket detailing accessory, not a vehicle model. It brings braided metal tow cables with resin eyes, with which you replace the plastic moldings of a kit of the amphibious PT-76 tank and of the vehicles derived from it, and achieve a realistic look.
The PT-76 was a Soviet light amphibious tank of the postwar era. Thanks to its buoyant hull and water jet propulsion it crossed water obstacles without preparation. Its chassis became the basis of a whole range of derived armored vehicles. Tow cables were part of the equipment for recovery work.
Form the pliable wire rope along the hull into a natural sag and glue the eyes with cyanoacrylate. Before painting, degrease the whole assembly, apply a base coat and accentuate the texture of the braiding with a dark wash and light weathering.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
