Metal assemblable tracks 1:35 Turan / Zrínyi from the Hungarian manufacturer Friulmodel — links in white metal as a replacement for the plastic tracks from the box.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a supplementary set of metal tracks, not a model of the vehicle. It holds individual links cast in white metal, which are joined with wire pins into a fully workable track. It replaces the plastic tracks supplied in the base kit of the Hungarian armored vehicles Turan and Zrínyi in 1:35 scale.
The Turan was a Hungarian medium tank of the Second World War. The Zrínyi assault gun was built on its basis, carrying a howitzer in a low armored casemate without a rotating turret. Both vehicles share the same running gear and type of track link, so the set can be used for both subjects.
Clean the casting remains off the links, lay them out one behind another and thread through the wire pins that form the joints. The track can be left workable, or tacked in place with super glue once fitted. The metal surface holds paint better once a primer for metal has been sprayed on, and the weight of the links creates a natural sag of the track.
A supplementary set — it does not hold the model of the vehicle, glue or paints. Meant as an upgrade to a separately bought kit.
