The Rye Field Model upgrade set for the M4A4 Sherman kit in 1:35 scale replaces some of the plastic parts with finer substitutes.

The set from the Upgrade Solution range is cut directly for the Rye Field Model kit of the M4A4 medium tank. It concentrates on the places where injected plastic runs into its limits, that is thin edges, grilles, eyes, brackets and the small equipment of the hull. The material allows thicknesses that cannot be produced from a mold, and once painted it immediately raises the credibility of the whole model.
You can tell this version of the Sherman at first glance by its lengthened hull. The reason was the Chrysler A57 Multibank powerplant, which was created by coupling five automobile six-cylinder engines into one block and simply did not fit into the standard length. Most of the vehicles built went to Britain under the designation Sherman V, and it was these that became the basis for the famous Firefly conversion with a long anti-tank gun.
Separate the small components with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, so that they do not spring away. Make the bends over a metal ruler or in a bending tool and fix the joints with cyanoacrylate glue applied drop by drop. Get the grease off the surface before painting, otherwise the primer coat holds on it poorly.
