This is not a model but a detail upgrade set made up mostly of photo-etched metal parts. It replaces and refines selected elements of the model of the German medium tank Panther Ausf. F in 1:35 scale: thin-walled side skirts, finer fenders, the spaced armor of the turret and the covers of the air intakes of the engine compartment.
The photo-etched parts have a realistic thickness that injection-molded plastic cannot manage. The result is a sharper outline of the armor and finer surface detail on the tank.
Bend the photo-etch on a bending tool or along a sharp edge, glue it with cyanoacrylate glue, and use two-part epoxy on the larger parts. Degrease the metal surfaces before painting and lay down a primer. The weathering of the tank is finished off with a wash and pigments for mud and dust effects.
The set contains detail parts, mostly photo-etch. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
