Quinta Studio 1:35 Ural 63095 Typhoon-U, a 3D printed colored interior on decal paper brings raised, pre-colored instruments and panels into the cab of the plastic model. It is an add-on, not a kit of the vehicle.

Quinta Studio handles interior detail differently from the usual add-on sets: the elements are printed in three dimensions and already colored, but they are carried on decal paper. The set is made for the plastic model of the Ural 63095 Typhoon-U armored vehicle in 1:35 scale and replaces or supplements the flat instrument panels and consoles that a kit normally starts from.
The parts are cut from the sheet, dipped in water and, once they release from the backing, slid onto a cleaned and painted spot in the interior. Unlike photo-etched parts nothing has to be bent or fixed with cyanoacrylate glue: the detail holds by itself and follows the shape of the surface once it has dried. The relief of the print stays visible, so the dials, the controls and the upholstery have real depth rather than just a drawing.
Paint the surface a dark color, let it dry thoroughly and go over it with a gloss coat; the element will not hold on a matte surface. Use tweezers and a damp brush, and slide the parts rather than drag them. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution: their chemistry attacks the printed resin and ruins the part. A raised decal will not pull over a sharp edge, so it is better to split a larger area into two steps. Finish the interior and let it dry before you close it up with the body.
