Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of classic water-slide (wet) decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. The sheet holds markings for the American M4A3 (76) Sherman medium tanks of the 761st Tank Battalion, nicknamed the Black Panthers, from the fighting in Northwest Europe. It offers registration numbers, tactical designations, vehicle names and further captions for more than one machine.
The real subjects are M4A3 tanks with the 76 mm gun, which were among the more modern versions of the Sherman with more capable armament. The 761st Tank Battalion was one of the African American combat units of the US Army, which distinguished itself in the campaign through western Europe. The markings consist of white registration codes, turret numbers and the personal names of the tanks.
Apply the decals onto a smooth surface gone over with gloss varnish, so that no silvering effect arises under the film. Cut the designs out close to the printing, dip them briefly in lukewarm water and slide them onto the model. For settling onto detail use a decal softener, and fix the finished markings with a matte varnish.
This is a sheet of decals on its own. A model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
