A set of 0.303 caliber ammunition boxes in 1:35 scale. The subject is wooden boxes, which belong both on the bed of a vehicle and in a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
Ammunition was transported and stored in boxes, and those boxes were everywhere in every unit: on vehicle beds, beside guns, in depots and stacked next to emplacements. The 0.303 caliber cartridge belonged to British and Allied armament, and the boxes for it were of wooden construction.
An empty vehicle bed or a bare diorama surface looks uninhabited. It is details of this kind that give a scene its scale and show that somebody worked there: boxes stacked at the rear of a vehicle, one of them open beside a figure, another set aside. The set is in 1:35 scale, the most common scale for military vehicles and figures, so it can be combined across makers.
Cut away excess material with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest, so that the edges stay crisp. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts and according to the manufacturer's instructions. Wood looks good when you lay a darker, saturated coat over the base shade so that it runs into the grooves, and then go over the surface with a dry brush in a lighter shade once it has dried. Lighten the corners and edges that saw the most abrasion in service, or wear them down to bare wood instead. Dust boxes standing on the ground from below.
The vehicle model, the figures, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
