A set of figures of American soldiers in 1:35 scale. It will complete dioramas and display cases with American equipment with human figures and give a scene scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
These are figures of American soldiers in 1:35 scale, that is in the most widespread scale for ground equipment. The figures are intended to complete a diorama or a display case where a model of a vehicle looks empty on its own. The number of figures and their positions are described in the enclosed instructions, as is the division of the parts if the figures are made up of several pieces.
A human figure gives a scene scale better than anything else. The viewer immediately compares the height of a soldier with the bed of a vehicle and only through that grasps how large the machine is. At the same time the figures carry action: a soldier leaning against a fender or talking across the side of a vehicle turns a static model into a scene.
Cut surplus material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that the shape of the folds does not disappear. Choose the glue according to the material of the set; with small joints cyanoacrylate proves itself. Before painting, wash and degrease the figures. Paint in thin coats: first the base coat, then the shade itself, a darker tone into the folds and a lighter one on the raised edges. Leave the face and the hands until the end, as they are the most visible part of the whole figure. Finally unify the whole figure with a matte varnish, as gloss looks out of place on a uniform.
The vehicle model, a base, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
