A resin replacement wheel set in 1:35 scale for the American HMMWV (Humvee) off-road vehicle, cast with the effect of a completely deflated (flat) tire. This is not a model of a vehicle but a detail accessory replacing the wheels from a plastic kit. A deflated tire is ideal for showing a damaged, parked or repaired vehicle in a diorama. The wheels are made for the Academy, Bronco or Tamiya kits.
The HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle), commonly the Humvee, is an American multipurpose 4x4 off-road vehicle used since the 1980s in many variants around the world. A flat wheel gives a scene story and tension - after running over a mine, for example, or a puncture in the field.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); sand with respiratory protection. Paint the tire a flat black-gray, pick out the deformed sidewall with a dry brush and use pigments to build up dust and mud where it meets the ground.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
