This is a Black Dog accessory set for the American M20 armored vehicle in 1:35, and the word big in the name refers to the larger of the versions made. It is not a vehicle kit but an accessory for a finished model. On the M20 the effect is visible at once, because the vehicle has an open fighting compartment and everything inside it stays on view.
The M20 was an American six-wheeled armored car derived from the M8 scout car. Unlike the M8 it had no powered turret with a gun; in its place came a lowered open fighting compartment with a ring mount for a heavy machine gun. That gave a fast, roomy vehicle for commanders, signalers and reconnaissance patrols and for carrying a few men, and it found its way into every larger American unit on the Western Front. The open compartment also meant that a quantity of equipment, ammunition, blankets and personal baggage would fit inside, and period photographs usually show M20s loaded to the brim. After the war the vehicles served in a number of other armies for many years.
Try the arrangement of the accessories out dry first and go by photographs of real vehicles of the unit in question, because it is the layout of the cargo that makes a scene believable. Work the painting up from the base tone through darker shading to picking out the edges. Add dust and mud sparingly and in stages from the bottom up, then seal the whole thing with a matte varnish.
