1:35 US paratrooper before jump N°2 is the second pose of an American paratrooper before the jump, a standalone Black Dog resin figure.
Responsibility details are not available.
A single resin figure from the figure range of Black Dog. The sequence mark in the name says that this is the second pose from the same thematic group, that is a variation meant to keep one figure from being repeated twice in a scene.
A group of figures looks convincing only once the figures do not match in stance. The second pose serves exactly that purpose: set it beside the first and the eye reads at once that these are two different men and not copies. When arranging them, take care that the figures do not look the same way; a small difference in the turn of the head does more for the liveliness of a scene than any added prop.
Once the casting is washed and the casting blocks cut off, check it against the light for any thin flash left on the edges; under paint you will no longer see it. The face under the brim of the helmet stays in shadow, so leave it a shade darker than the hands, or the figure will seem to glow. Build the uniform on a muted green base and brighten only the edges of the folds. Close the leather webbing in semi-matte so that it is set apart from the fabric without drawing the eye before the face does. Leave the footwear and the bottoms of the trouser legs for the end, because that is where it is decided how firmly the figure will stand in the scene.
