1:35 US soldier special group N°2 is a figure of an American soldier of a special group in 1:35 scale from Black Dog, carrying the sequence number of the position in its name.
Responsibility details are not available.
The name marks an American soldier and with the words special group places him in a named group, within which the sequence number No. 2 tells the positions apart. The numbering is practical for a modeler: it makes it possible to put a scene together from positions that do not overlap and that face different ways. The 1:35 scale remains the best supported size for ground scenes.
The natural setting is a halt: a post at a barrier, the moment after dismounting from a vehicle, a watch at an entrance. Place the figure so that it has some object within reach to relate to: a crate, a wall, a post, the edge of a roadway. A figure standing in empty space looks separate from the scene, however carefully you paint it.
Do not copy a modern broken-up camouflage pattern literally in 1:35. Reduce it to three tones, paint the patches with a soft brush tip and leave the borders slightly blurred; sharp outlines look hard at this scale. Set the equipment apart by surface instead: keep the worn areas matte and leave the harder items a little glossier. The contrast between matte and gloss gives the material away more reliably than color does.
