A sheet of small colored elements depicting Soviet medals and decorations of the period up to 1943, in 1:35 scale. It serves to finish figures and dioramas where the same detail painted with a brush would be hard to keep readable. It is the first part of a pair of sheets; the second part is a separate item. The specific list of motifs and their arrangement on the sheet are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The method of application differs with sheets of this kind and the part number does not determine it. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the procedure, then, and do not work to the pattern of another line of elements. Whether the elements are self-adhesive or not, prepare the surface the same way: first paint the figure completely and let it dry fully, clear the surface of dust and grease, and only then transfer the element with tweezers with fine jaws. Work in good light, because at a fraction of a millimeter even an experienced hand easily goes astray.
The sheet will be appreciated by modelers who build figures and scenes from the Eastern Front and want the awards readable rather than merely suggested by a blob of color. It also suits collectors' busts, where the chest is in the foreground of the view and where every inaccurately painted detail catches the eye. Because it is one part of a pair of sheets, it pays to compare before buying which of them carries the motifs you need for your figure.
Figures, paints, varnishes and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
