DEF Model 1:35 WW2 German VW Desert wheels (set 1) is a resin set of replacement desert wheels for the Tamiya kit of the German Kübelwagen.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT a model of the vehicle but a resin set of replacement wheels from the South Korean maker DEF Model in 1:35 scale. It replaces the wheels from the plastic kit of the German VW Kübelwagen light car by Tamiya, in the version with the wide balloon tires of the desert type. The bottom of the tires is cast sagged, so that the wheels settle realistically under the weight of the car.
The wheels are fitted to the chassis of the base kit in place of the parts from the box and capture service in sandy terrain better. A masking template for the rims is usually included. The accessory is meant for more experienced modelers.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and the gates and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Do any sanding of resin with respiratory protection.
