FLY Grunau Baby IIb 1:48 is a plastic kit of a prewar training glider with NSFK markings.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:48 scale captures the German Grunau Baby IIb training glider from the manufacturer FLY. This version offers decals with NSFK markings. It is a smaller model that builders of unpowered aircraft will appreciate.
The Grunau Baby was a single-seat training glider that became one of the most widespread unpowered aircraft of its day. It was built in large numbers and was used above all for training and soaring. The IIb version is one of its best-known variants. The glider was known for its simple, robust structure and for the kindly handling that made it a favorite training machine.
Cut the fine parts off carefully and dry-fit them to check the fit. Use liquid polystyrene cement for the plastic parts. Lay a gloss varnish over the paint before applying the decals. You will capture the wood-and-fabric subject with a restrained hint of surface texture and a matte final coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
