An injection-molded plastic kit of the YPR-765A1 PRI tracked infantry fighting vehicle in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. The model represents the version with a turret mounting an automatic cannon of 25 mm caliber, in the markings and the fit that match service with the SFOR peacekeeping force. The set contains plastic sprues for assembling the hull, the turret and the running gear.
The YPR-765 is the Dutch version of a tracked armored vehicle derived from the American family of light tracked carriers. In the PRI variant it serves as an infantry fighting vehicle with a turret armed with an automatic cannon of 25 mm caliber, and it carries a squad of infantry. Vehicles in SFOR markings were deployed in the peacekeeping operation in the Balkans in the second half of the 1990s.
Finish and paint the running gear and the bottom of the hull before you close up the upper part. Glue the plastic parts with liquid cement for plastic, apply a primer before painting and lay the camouflage on with an airbrush. Create the patina with a wash into the recesses and with dust or mud pigments on the running gear.
