A multi-piece plastic set of miniature Westland Lynx helicopters in the HAS-3 version in 1:350 scale from Trumpeter. This is not a stand-alone large model but an accessory set of small parts for populating the decks and hangars of warship models in the same scale. The parts are injection-molded in clear plastic and decals tend to be included. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
The Westland Lynx HAS-3 is the British naval version of the multirole Lynx helicopter. It served for anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare from the decks of Royal Navy frigates and destroyers. In its class the Lynx was among the agile and fast machines.
The parts are very small, so use tweezers, a sharp knife and liquid cement for plastic applied in drops. Glue the rotors and the landing gear with a light touch. An airbrush and thin coats suit the painting; a fine brush will serve for the details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
